--- Virtualization under OSX solutions ---

Parallels Workstation 2.1 Beta for OS X Brings Virtualization to Intel Based Macs - I've got this installed and running on my MacBook Pro Duo 1.83 GHz. It's hard to measure the speed, but it seems faster than VPC ever was on any Mac, but feels slower than when I boot the MacBook into Windows. I'm a little confused when it comes to drivers for Parallels Workstation...specifically which are installed, what works, what doesn't, what's included in the Parallel Tools Center, etc...

A lot does seem to be working automagically. For example, launching Internet Explorer worked from the get-go. On the other hand, I can't get any sound (internal/external) and apps like Adobe Audition don't run at all because they can't find an installed sound device.

It's still Beta Day 1, so I'm sure a lot of this will be ironed out, and this could be a very viable solution for people who want to run windows apps without rebooting.

Read more about it on the Parallels site: [1]
