Introduced on February 28th, 2006, the Mac mini (Early 2006) is the first Mac available that contains either an Intel Core Solo or Core Duo CPU.

System Specs

    • CPU: Socketed 1.5 GHz Intel Core Solo or 1.67 GHz Intel Core Duo
    • Cache: 2MB shared L2 Cache (Full processor speed)
    • Bus Speed: 667MHz system bus
    • Memory: PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 memory.
  • Storage
    • Hard Drive Interface: Serial ATA hard disk drive
      • 60GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive on 1.5GHz configuration.
      • 80GB 5400-rpm (standard for 1.67 GHz), 100GB 5400-rpm, 120GB 5400-rpm drives optional
    • CD/DVD Drive: Combo (DVD-ROM/CD-RW) or Superdrive (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) (SuperDrive standard for 1.67 GHz)
